| This is the
latest thinking on the 2009 fall tour of NM. We estimate the tour
will cost around $2k/couple plus petrol and individual expenses.
Zero miles on a freeway, lots of smiles through the rural, high
mountain country of NM. On many of the roads you will see no one but
us. The attendant photos were taken by our organizer, Gary Phipps,
our newest member while pre-running the planned route! Typical
scenery, is the High Road to Taos see photo. Gary’s train trip is
also shown. Driving elevations will range between 5K-10K feet.
Dinner atop Sandia Mountain at the upper terminal of the Sandia Peak
Tramway. Spectacular views are the norm from the restaurant &
the suspended cable car. Visibility typically exceeds 100
miles! Maps & driving notes are to be included.
